Okay, things are obviously at a lull around here. That's cool. It happens.
I myself just have not been gaming. The most I've been using my computer for is email and keeping in touch with people. The site is for whatever though. I may not necessarily keep the Ventrilo after the funds expire on it, just for the fact that it is not getting used. If you want an alternative, I have been getting emails from XFire that evidently they have some kind of free high quality voice chat available. I would urge you all to check it out, as I haven't even done that much myself
This site has some serious issues that I don't even feel like fucking with at this time. I have been keeping an eye on futurenuke.com, which is the website that supports the CMS geeksbling.com runs on. They have been promising a new version for over a year now. I'm tired of holding my breath.
On a personal note, just to let everyone know I have been feeling pretty good. Still clotted almost completely in both legs, but now its pretty manageable. I had ballooned up to 309 pounds(Jan '09), have lost 48 of that as of this writing. Exercise has been taking a good chunk of my time, and my gut...
It would be nice if everyone who reads this could drop a short line just to let everyone else know they are alive and breathing...
Peace

Hey Goat! Good to hear you're exercising and getting the weight off. I sincerely hope the legs get better, and soon. I'v been thinking of everyone and hoping everyone else is doing well.
As for me, I am still out of work. KC is not a financial center, so the jobs are even fewer and further between than somewhere like NYC, Chicago, or Boston. It sounds as though the ecnomy is on the mend, so firms may staff up again in a few months. IN the interim, I have been taking care of all the household duties while the wife works. I need to see a doc for my knee. I hurt it over 6 months ago and it still hasn't healed. I figure they're going top have to scope it.
As for gaming, I have dropped the COD titles as the game is beautiful to look at, but the mechanics (spawn, overall play, etc) aren't as good as 2142. They are a big cluster if you ask me. I started playing 2142 off and on again and sent some Buddy requests, but figured everone else has been busy. The name is AIfa_Gator (the L is a cap I). Still fun to run and gun.
My daughter arrives today and stays for a week, so don't look for me to be online very much during the time she's here. We try to make the most of every minute together.
